What Is To Come

To congregate or not to congregate is no more a difficult question. What is important is to stand up and be counted.

To be informed or not to be informed is no more a difficult task. What one has to do is to get to the blogs.

What is going to happen is anticipated to be chaotic, not only in the assembly but also outside the State Assembly Building.

With all the roads leading to the State Assembly Building blocked, all new kids on the block could somehow or rather find their way to the venue, but to the welcoming reception of the waiting police.

MP Jeyakumar was denied entry into the assembly sitting despite having an official invitation. He was whisked away soon after this interview.

Democracy Tree

The Democracy Tree is at Taman Istana just directly opposite to the State Assembly Building. The trees planted around the Democracy Tree are in a poor state.

The residents in Taman Istana are used to the curious visitors dropping by to have a look at the Democracy Tree. To them is a daily affair.

What about tomorrow then? The police has sounded the warning about wearing black and also the congregation of the people should be 500 metres away from the State Assembly Building.

Will the people, especially the Perakians take the cue or otherwise?

Imagine 7th May, and Malaysians from all walks of life, from Johore in the south right up to Perlis way up north, and our brothers and sisters in East Malaysia, at the train stations, bus stops, markets, offices, eating stalls, shopping malls, all dressed in black!

Imagine the youth, flash-mob style, turning fast food joints and shopping centres gloomy with their black attire!

Imagine the foreign and online media reporting how Malaysians turned out in full force throughout the country, all dressed in black wherever they were, to send a clear message to Najib and his cohorts in BN :

WE DO NOT APPROVE OF WHAT YOU HAVE DONE IN PERAK. RESTORE POWER BACK TO THE PEOPLE NOW OR BE PREPARED TO PAY DEARLY.

It will not take much for you to be a part of this effort.


You do not have to give up a day at work.

Heck go to work and get your colleagues to join you.

Make the effort now to call up at least 10 people you know and urge them to turn Malaysia black this 7th May.

Together, we can do it!
