DSAI, Lim Kit Siang and Tok Guru himself were scheduled to speak at the ceramah.
The site of the "ceramah" is good for about two-thousand crowd but it was overflowed to any corner that could accommodate the surging crowd.
From the site to the shoulder of the road (from where I was) the crowd could easily exceed seven thousand people.
The P.A. system was the only means that could keep the crowd listening to the speakers they came to listen to.
Donning the Tok Guru T-shirt and capped my hair with the PAS UNTUK SEMUA slogan, I could walk the royal road into the crowd. Anyone looking at me was "puzzled" over how and why the Chinese have the respect for their revered Tok Guru. They made way for me and even ushered me to where I wanted to go.
"Kami Sokong Tok Guru" cried out loud and clear and our sincere gesture had captured the hearts of the locals. They came to shake our hands and thanked us for the support. Their approving looks had forged us together as ONE.
