Traditional Japanese Kimono
Japanese clothing and traditional Japanese clothes is worn to compliment the seasons. There are various types of kimono and worn according to the person’s age or event.
Young unmarried women wear kimono with long sleeves of vibrant, colourful and rich in patterns.
Older or married women wear kimono with short sleeves where designs and colours are more subdued.
Today, kimono producers and designers have modernized the kimono to meet the consumers’ everyday demands, economics and life style. New kimono patterns, designs, colours and fabrics are made to compliment the person’s age or marital status, thus being much more versatile.
