Many people believe that it is impossible for cats and dogs to live together peacefully. Perhaps this belief is brought on by images seen in cartoons or the cultural tales that cats and dogs should forever remain the sworn enemies!
By nature, dogs are predators that tend to chase things that move quickly and that are smaller than them. Of course, cats fit this description.
But cats, who are also predatory, can also exhibit stalking behaviours toward dogs, despite the fact the dog is usually much bigger. As such, cats will defend themselves, so thus begins the rivalry.
Animals tend to be more territorial, so do Man. To get these two species (cats and dogs) to co-exist is quite a cinch but for the same species of homo-sapiens to co-exist, they create war on each other before calling a truce. By then, many have to be perished in the hands of the same species.
It is a shame on the human kind who is supposed to be the most intelligent species in the animal family, but could stoop lower than the animals themselves. Until the primordial greed for power; wealth and selfishness ceased then it will be an ideal world to live like brothers and sisters. But then again, pigs might fly!
In An Ideal World
In an ideal world, no animals will suffer in the hands of humans…
In an ideal world, animals and humans will co-exist peacefully…
In an ideal world, animals and humans will live with much respect for the other…
In an ideal world, animals will live without fear of humans…
In an ideal world, humans will cease to wrongfully seize for personal gains…
In an ideal world, the world will be a better place…
Unfortunately, we are far from being in an ideal world…
And we are actually getting further and further away…
