These thirteen and sixteen years old boys were released after YB Sivarasa. They were napped in Sogo Shopping Complex even before the scheduled time for the Anti-ISA Walk.
The younger boy was in the company of the older boy whose father is the longest serving ISA detainee. Simple as that!

Sivarasa - Released

By noon, YB Sivarasa was walking tall as a free man after having to spend two nights in Bukit Jalil police station.

However, he was asked to report to Dang Wangi Police Headquarters on 17 August.

Somewhere In The Wilderness...

30 July 2009. SUK Negeri Perak.

In Ipoh this morning:

1. The Speakers and his Rights and Privileges committee were prevented from entering SUK (Secretariat Undangan Kerajaan) for their 10.00 a.m. meeting despite having written in earlier to the State Secretariat and the Dewan S/U.

They were barred with the reason that the PR Rights and Privileges committee was dissolved after the 507 meeting.

2. The Speaker and his Committee are still trying to find a way into SUK. Even a request for a drink at the canteen was denied. The State Secretariat Assistant was seen scurrying back and forth messaging between the PR Representatives and the Secretariat.

Situation became tense when when Simpang Pulai’s Rep lost his temper and attempted to force his way through the gates. He started swearing at the police.

Ngeh was briefed of the situation and he had advised the Speaker on the next course of action.

There were about 20 policemen and soon a jeep with 8 men in riot gear arrived.

The meeting will be continued at the contingency venue at Syuen Hotel.

3. SUK saga ended with a press conference and the submission of a letter informing the State Secretary and Dewan S/U to hold a meeting for Zambry to appear tomorrow before the committee.

The police resorted in using chains to secure the gates.

The committee then proceeded to Wisma DAP to meet their attorney, Kok Keong before heading to Syuen Hotel.
