1 Year Today

The Anti-ISA Candlelight Vigil gathering on the 9th.November 2008 was a meaningful and memorable one for those who were present. But, it was marred by the sudden arrest of some participants at the field of MBPJ in the midst of singing Negaraku.

Yesterday was the first anniversary of the 23 arrested and a second anniversary for BERSIH today.

This photo (taken inside the Black Maria), holds a special memory for the 23 people detained on the 9th of November 2008.

Some were handcuffed and squeezed into the dark and stuffy “container” like cattle taken to a slaughter house.

Had the experience made them frightened and had nightmares for the whole one year? No! They have become angrier and adamant to seek justice until the end.

It was a wrongful arrest!

This morning saw YB Lim Kit Siang's presence to show support.

Friends and bloggers made their presence felt.

What a way to celebrate the anniversary.

The post-mortem would be carried out by forensic pathologist Dr Shahidan Md Noor.

Teoh Beng Hock's remains to be exhumed on Nov 21 and the second-post mortem to be conducted on Nov 22 at the Sungai Buloh Hospital.

Thai pathologist Dr. Pornthip Rojanasunand is allowed to be present.

Teoh Beng Hock's parents, sister Teoh Lee Lan and brother Teoh Meng Kee were present in court.

It is not difficult to comprehend a mother's love for her children but it is very difficult to feel how a mother feels to have lost her son.

Holding the portrait of her beloved son is the feel she could only ask for, like cuddling "him" as a baby in reminiscence.

It is a cruel world we are living in and only with love and faith that we could live for another day.

Dance Your Blues Away

Dancing is a sure way of exercising and is also a form of communication that you could feel the vibes flowing through the body.

Irrespective of age and gender, why not learn to dance like there is no tomorrow? Dancing is a great stress reliever that makes you feel good and this is where it gives you the most out of life!

They are never too young!

MB vs MB

It was not a surprise to see newsmakers outnumbered the supporters (from both sides of the divide) at the Palace of Justice this morning.

The MB vs MB case to determine the rightful "Mentri Besar" of the state of Perak had lost its impact because the people who support Barisan know of their "sure win" and those who support Pakatan know of the outcome.

The best solution is to go for the state by-election for the Perakians to decide once and for all who should be their choice of mentri besar. However, it is seasier said than done!

Not only Perakians but also Malaysians are fed-up with what is happening in Perak. It is up to the federal government to use its wisdom to hear the people out in order to save Malaysia from further embarrassment!

MB vs MB (04 Oct 2009)

I caught up with YB Nga Kor Ming of P60-Taiping to hear his views over the MB vs MB case in the Palace of Justice this afternoon.
