It Is Expected - Palace Of Justice – 22 May 2009

On May 11, Kuala Lumpur High Court judge Abdul Aziz Abd Rahim proclaimed Nizar as the rightful menteri besar.

Today (22 May 2009) the Court Of Appeal declared that the rightful mentri besar of Perak is Zambry.
Umno lawyer Mohd Hafarizam Harun described the court's decision as a 'moral victory' for the ruling coalition.

However, looking at the Perakians today, their faces tell that it is over when the power is returned to the people.

Looking at the faces, even words have their limitation to describe the decision made by the Appelant Court.

Nizar's lawyers told the court today that they will be appealing to the Federal Court. And everbody knows that nothing is over because the Perakians have yet to speak.

The court staff could not resist the roar of dissatisfaction, but to take a quick peek at the enthusiastic crowd.

  1. It is not a judgement but more like a pre-arranged reading....

  3. It disheartens me when both judiciary and democracy are both vanishing in this country. We have been robbed in bright day light by this power crazy and rotten government beyond any repair. The Royal Police Force is another forlorn hope and the running dog for the current government. We have witnessed too many double standards, too many cover ups, too many disappointments and enough is enough. "Malaysians mudah lupa" quoted by TUN was applicable in his era but this does not apply anymore in the modern Malaysian society. The sleeping giant has been awaken and we Malaysians have developed into a more complex society where human rights and true democracy are utmost imperative. Racial oppression and segregation would not be tolerated anymore by any quarters of the society. Again, 1 Malaysia by Najib is just another political coy, which fails to live up to its good intentions. Well, that's Malaysian standard anyhow. Oh no, not anymore it's more like BN standard....

  4. Like it of not, the contemporary society has finally come to their senses, be it Malays, Chinese or Indians including the Ibans and Kadazans.

This is where we see the civil society is moulding itself to be aware rather than to sit back and keep silent.

The fear the government is trying to put into the people by using the police, is a reflection of the fear itself in the government.
