The din was deafening outside the stadium as the DVDs of politicians making their fiery speeches were played loud enough to attract a small crowd to congregate around their stalls. T-shirts with Tok Guru’s image were selling well so were the paraphernalia.
The crowd was tame even by 9.30 p.m. As usual, the Malaysians habitual trait of not being on time could not escape even by just a glance. As time passed by, the crowd was estimated to be around 5,000 strong after an hour.
Saudara Lim Kit Siang had the ball rolling and the PM was not spared by his bashing of what is happening in the country. The PKFZ scandal was the hardest hit by Saudara Lim.PAS President, Hadi Awang recited the holy verse to substantiate why he was against unity government with Umno.
As usual, DSAI spoke with his clever and impassioned rhetoric to mesmerize the crowd with a touch of his trademark of funny satire. His style was the crowd puller.
